Pricing For Group Classes

We offer two types of Group Pilates Classes—Apparatus and Mat—each with its own pricing options for packages and memberships. If you’re new to either, start with a Level 1 class to get comfortable with the basics. Keep scrolling for FAQs and more information about each type of Class.

Group Class FAQs

How long are your classes?

All classes are 50 minutes.

Please arrive on time or just a few minutes early for your class. If you do arrive early please wait in the seating area so the previous group class has space to clean equipment and exit before the next class enters.

If you’re late for class, please be mindful that arriving late can be disruptive. Check in on the iPad, enter quietly and begin warming up on your own. Your teacher won’t be able to pause class to get you caught up, so join in when you feel ready.

What is the difference between Sessions and Classes?

We offer Private, Duet, Semi-Private, Small Group, and Independent Sessions, scheduled by appointment, and Group Mat and Group Apparatus Classes, which happen on a regular weekly basis.

During Sessions, clients work on their individualized program- even if sharing an instructor. These programs are workouts based on the client’s goals, injuries, and how their bodies feel on any given day. Sessions typically utilize the Pilates Apparatus; however, some clients choose to focus on just Pilates Mat work.

In Group Classes everyone is being guided through the same workout.

What is the difference between Apparatus and Mat Classes?

Both types of classes follow the same Pilates approach—building strength from the inside out and helping your body move the way it’s meant to—but they feel different in practice.

Mat Classes
Mat classes use your body weight for resistance, sometimes with small props like bands, balls, or rings. They’re straightforward, surprisingly challenging, and a great way to understand how your body works without relying on equipment.

Apparatus Classes
Apparatus classes use the Reformer, Tower, and Chair—spring-based equipment that offers both support and resistance. This makes the work highly adaptable: the same exercise can feel restorative one day and athletic the next, depending on how it’s set up.

How to Choose
If you’re new to either, start with a Level 1 class. Your teacher will help you learn the basics and guide you toward what fits best. Many clients enjoy both—Mat for its simplicity and focus, and Apparatus for its variety and feedback from the springs.

Apparatus Classes

4-10 Clients | 1 Instructor | 50 Minutes

4-10 Clients | 1 Instructor

50 Minutes

Apparatus classes use spring-based equipment like the Reformer, Tower, and Chair to challenge your whole body in new and dynamic ways. Our Oov classes typically incorporate the Reformer.

NEW for 2026: We've added a dedicated classroom with 5 CoreAligns and will be adding these classes to our Group Apparatus Class schedule in early 2026.

CoreAlign work emphasizes upright movement, coordinated stepping patterns, and controlled resistance through the legs and trunk. Some Oov work is layered in to shift how balance and support are experienced. The class builds on familiar Pilates concepts but applies them in less familiar positions, requiring attention, adaptability, and steady pacing.

This class is for clients with at least three months of Reformer experience who want a new apparatus-based challenge.

I can’t say enough good things about The Pilates Studio. I absolutely love going to the reformer classes. It has been the best form of physical therapy for me after having my son. The classes are fun and you feel so much stronger and well aligned after.
